Austin Planetarium - Discovery Dome

The Austin Planetarium Discovery Dome combines an inflatable dome with a digital video projection system and stereo sound to provide you with a truly out-of-this-world experience. Surrounded by 360° of action, you will be immersed in images of the night sky and first-class planetarium shows about astronomy and space travel. BB Gun and Archery Shooting at ScoutJam 2010

Scouts of all ages and their same-age siblings can practice their shooting skills at the BB Gun and Archery Range.

The Boy Scouts of America adheres to its longstanding policy of teaching its youth and adult members the safe, responsible, intelligent handling, care, and use of firearms, airguns, and BB guns in planned, carefully managed, and supervised programs.

*Archery and BB gun shooting are restricted to day camps, Cub Scout/Webelos Scout resident camps, council-managed family camping programs, or to council activities where there are properly trained supervisors and all standards for BSA shooting sports are enforced.
Cub Scouts are not permitted to use any other type of handgun or firearm.

Catch Tank Fishing Hole

A favorite Scout pastime comes to ScoutJam 2010 by way of our Stocked Fishing Pond. Bring your Scout and same-age siblings to catch the best fresh water species in the state, no license required. We'll even supply the pole. Our pond is catch-and-release, but you do get to keep the fun!

ScoutJam on the Airwaves

ScoutJam 2010 will be on the air Saturday and Sunday morning with 104.9 FM The Horn. "Austin's Home for Texas-Sized Sports Talk and ESPN Radio" will be broadcasting live from the event on Saturday with "The Saturday Morning Sports Edge" with Beau Edge, and on Sunday with "America Outdoors" with Christopher James.
