Online Registration is Now Over


Wristbands to all Midway events and the Arena Show are available beginning Friday afternoon through Saturday at the Travis County Expo Center registration HQ (Facility Map).  Wristbands will be required for anyone to access the Indoor/Outdoor Scout Midways, other program areas or the Arena Show.

Registration packets and wristbands are no longer available for pick up at the council office.  If you have not picked up your registration packet and wristbands, you will need to get them at the Registration table when you arrive at ScoutJam on Friday or Saturday.

WHAT DOES SCOUTJAM COST? 

Price per person, youth or adult age 6 and older         Effective Sept 28, 2010

$20     Troop, Varsity Team, Sea Scout Ship, Venturing Crew Members and Adult Leaders - camping or not, receive two patches, ScoutJam event and District Sub-Camp

$15     Cub Scout Pack, Explorer Post Members and Adult Leaders, Girl Scout Troop

$10     Newly Registered Scouts – Fall Join Scout Night coupons, see comments below

$15     Non-camping Family Members and Siblings

$15     Visitors

$15     Alumni

HOW DO WE GET OUR WRISTBANDS AND PATCHES?

All units and visitors will purchase and/or pick up wristbands at the Registration HQ at ScoutJam (Travis County EXPO Center) beginning Friday, Oct 8 at noon - Saturday, Oct 9.

Staff members who have prepaid and registered online as staff by Sept 30 may pick up their wristbands and patches at the Staff orientation, Tuesday, Oct 5 at 6:30PM at St. Michael's Episcopal Church, 1500 N Capitol of Texas Hwy, 78746.

All merchandise orders (t-shirts, hats, etc.) will be available for your pickup at the ScoutJam registration tables at the event. They can also be purchased at the ScoutJam Trading Post during Saturday, Oct 9 at the Indoor Scout Midway.

WHAT DOES THE COST INCLUDE?

There is no charge for parking at ScoutJam 2010.

Boy Scouts, Varsity Teams, Sea Scout Ships and Venturing Crews are encouraged to camp for the weekend and will receive a wristband allowing access to all activities including the arena show, a ScoutJam 2010 patch and a District Sub-Camp patch. This applies to all Scouts and Adults Leaders.

Cub Scouts, and their families including siblings age 6 and above, will receive a wristband allowing access to all activities including the evening arena show, and a ScoutJam 2010 patch.

Visitors who are not in Scouting and are attending the event on Saturday will receive a wristband allowing access to all activities including the evening arena show, and a ScoutJam 2010 patch.

WHAT DOESN’T THE COST INCLUDE?

Your meals for the weekend are not included.  Food is available at the event site by a contract concessionaire and if you are camping, through your Troop, Varsity Team, Ship or Crew. The campsites are organized by Districts in Sub-Camp areas.  Water will be available on site, but recommend additional provided by your District or unit.

All new Scout registrations processed through the Scout office (membership application and dues) will receive a welcome letter from JT Dabbs, Council Executive, with a coupon allowing $10 per person, regardless of program (Cubs or older), and good for the entire family. Families should bring this coupon to the Registration Booth at ScoutJam to purchase wristbands at the $10 price. They are also welcome to register as part of their new unit if done online by Sept 27.

 

 

Preview the District Sub-Camp Patches 

 

These are the District Sub--Camp patch designs. Each prepaid Boy Scout or adult registering with their Troop will receive one free District patch for their own District, in addition to the free ScoutJam Event patch shown above.  Additional patches will be available for purchase at the ScoutJam Store on Saturday, October 9.
